After years of using a custom-written software application, the company began experiencing performance degradation due to the inherent size limitations of their legacy database. Though the company plans to eventually rewrite the application with new technologies, Caplan Brothers Glass still needed an interim solution.

To allow their current application to run with reasonable performance, Activus first migrated a significant amount of data to a modern, enterprise database. Next, to let Caplan Brothers Glass continue to access the offloaded legacy data, Activus developed an easy-to-use application that lets Caplan Brothers Glass employees view legacy and "live" data simultaneously.
